Subject: Sharing Joy: Today's Tracting

Amen!
There are far more people who we can reach out to
I am reaching out to people who are in churches that has the wrong doctrines, Mormons or JW
There are people like that that we haven't touch yet
In pentacostal or spirit falling down churches, I'm reaching out to people there
First to be a friend, understand why, how they are there in the first place, and then, share your life and testimony to them, being in a Bible centric church etc
Do not make the teachings in the church be confined to only a church's walls!
We are living people and needs to bridge this gap that is within the Christian society that we can bring in more Non-Christians when they see our flourishing Christian community.
Amen.

Subject: Sharing Joy: Today's Tracting

Hi All,
Just want to thank God for the tracting today. I thank God and thank those who remembered the tracting today in prayers and for those who have availed themselves (the whole family of Dn. Terence).
We went to Pasir Ris St. 21 and covered 3 blocks. Dn. Terence and Tabitha went to cover Block 275, Sis. Sally, Sarah and Deborah (one group), Madam Kim and I (another group) went to cover Block 271.
It was a triple blessing. Firstly, because I thought no one would join the tracting but the Lord sent Dn. Terence and the whole family. I was so glad and grateful to the Lord for He heard prayers. So together with me, we had the strength of 4 adults and 3 children (Hannah went out with her friend). God is gracious! :D
Secondly, because I was able (God gave me joy and wisdom) to talk to a Singaporean Chinese man who was sitting alone, smoking in the void deck. His eyes were red and when I passed the track to him, I asked him whether he could understand English (because I wanted to tell Him about the track). I told him I couln't speak Chinese. So, he replied with with casual tone that He didn't read Chinese (because he was reading the pamphlet). So, by the strength of God, I started to tell him that the pamphlet is from church. His reaction was as casual as before. So I continued. I told him that this is a very special invitation. It is a program specially arranged. I told him, "Uncle, do come if you are free. Find out for yourself the true meaning of life in God. Life is short and if you cannot have a meaningful life, you will live a miserable life." I told him certain buses that he can take if he want to travel to church. Then he asked me where is the church. I told him it is near Changi Village.
Then thirdly, Dn. Terence came back with a note he passed to me, telling me the need to follow up because he met a China national guy and there were few people staying in one house. Blk 275 #02-530.
A less than 1 hour tracting has brought so much spiritual blessing and thanksgiving for me personally to see how God could work His marvelous work, because He is faithful! :D
Words of Encouragement: So friends, if you are doing the ministry of reaching out somewhere out there, wherever the Lord leads you (workplace, etc), I'm sure there are "surprises" that you experience or maybe will experience. Perhaps you never expect certain people to come, but they can make it. Or you expect certain people to turn out, but they are the ones who can't do that. Or any other similar surprises out there.
The lesson for us is, don't be discouraged! :D
God, through His faithful servant, Apostle Paul, reminds us, not to be weary in well doing (tracting, inviting people to hear God's Word, sharing Christ, be kind to those who are not kind, be forgiving, be loving to our enemy, etc) for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not (Galatians 6:9).
Life Application Study Bible comments on Galatians 6:9 this way, "It is discouraging to continue to do right and receive no word of thanks or see no tangible results. But Paul challenges the Galatians and us to keep on doing what is right (I add: what is commanded and what is pleasing before Him) and to trust God for the results. In due time, we will reap a harvest of blessing."
Yes, the reward of well doing can come in tangible form. But surely, the immediate blessing is that when we seek God, His ways and His wisdom while doing His commands in our prayers, then our faith in God and His Word will be strengthened, joy overflowed, much thanksgiving and surrender! :D
So, don't faint! :) The literal meaning of that word faint in this particular text is "to have one's strength relaxed, to be enfeebled through exhaustion, to grow weak, grow weary of the mind (not the body)."
Finally, I should add that I got actually quadruple blessing! The fourth is I got a good Greek Website that helps me to study the original language while I do this sharing to expound Gal 6:9. I haven't searched all the context to check whether there is suspicious stuffs inside hahah... but for personal consummation, it'll should be alright. I'm very excited!!! Thank God!!!
So, may the Lord bless everyone who reads this short sharing! Be blessed and bless others by your testimony wherever you are and whatever your occupation/commitment is! Life is short. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13
God bless you all!!!

NB: a helpful info when I write this short sharing on how to call numbers arrangement in English :D --> 2 = double, 3 = triple, 4 = quadruple, 5 = quintuple, 6 = sextuple, 7 = septuple, 8 = octuple
